Professional Certificate in Psychosexual Therapy

The CICS Professional Certificate in Psychosexual Therapy offers specialist training in working with sexual problems for qualified and practicing counsellors and medical professionals.

The CICS Professional Certificate in Psychosexual Therapy provides a specialist training in working with sexual problems for qualified and practicing counsellors, couples therapists, psychologists and medical professionals. We combine a bio-psycho-social approach with the theoretical framework of pluralism. Pluralism is based on the view that no one therapeutic approach can resolve all client presentations and that different clients are likely to want, and benefit from, different interventions in therapy.

This course is offered as a six month, fully online blended learning programme. The knowledge base of the course is captured in a series of detailed pre-recorded videos and pre-readings accessed via our e-learning platform. We then bring that knowledge to life in the live skills practice days accessed via Zoom.

The course commencement date is 13th January 2025 when access to the e-learning materials will be released.
