CICS was formed in 2016 with the aim of providing contemporary, research based education programmes for professionals choosing a career in psychosexual and relationship therapy. Our purpose is to equip our students with the therapeutic knowledge and skills required to effectively provide sex and relationship therapy to people of all gender identities, sexualities, relationship structures, race and cultural backgrounds.
Our guiding principles are inclusivity, relational warmth and uncompromising quality. Our intention is to create a safe and expansive learning environment that allows each student to reach their full potential in their way. All of our sex and relationship therapy related courses are accredited by the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists and our Diploma in Clinical Sexology is endorsed by Pink Therapy. At CICS we explicitly state our commitment to being an anti-racism organisation and we are active members of the Coalition for Inclusion and Anti-Oppressive Practice.
